01 CLIENT OVERVIEW & POSITIONING
Fine-dining Japanese room with a tasting-and-à-la-carte hybrid format. $180–$220 per-guest check, quiet design-led service, audience anchored by affluent residents and seasonal Northeast and Midwest visitors who anchor in Sarasota for months.
02 THE CHALLENGE
Yūgen needed verified, OpenTable-confirmed reservations as the optimization signal — not website clicks, not button fills. Anything less would not defend ad spend at the level fine-dining economics required.
03 STRATEGIC APPROACH / GOOGLE ADS & META ADS
Direct OpenTable integration into the conversion path so the algorithm learned against confirmed bookings, not proxies. Dedicated Google Search campaign on ultra-high-intent fine-dining queries with brand defense and reservation-language matching. Meta carried low-volume, high-quality creative into warm and lookalike audiences built off existing OpenTable diners.
04 RESULTS & REVENUE IMPACT
181 conversions in 2 months at a $5.04 CPA — every single one a 100% OpenTable-verified, confirmed table reservation. No proxies, no "likely booked." The dedicated Search campaign alone produced 83 verified bookings at $6.52 CPA. Revenue model against verified bookings only: 181 reservations × 2.5 guests × $200 ticket = ~$90,500 in 2 months, or ~$45,250 monthly. CPA at 2.5% of an average ticket — category-defining at fine-dining margins.
